Post Doctoral Award
Each Year the Graduate School in Collaboration with the W. Burghardt Turner Fellowship program awards two doctoral graduates of Stony Brook Programs Turner Postdoctoral Faculty Traineeships. The postdoctoral program provides recent underrepresented Ph.D. recipients with teaching and research experience and the unique opportunity to collaborate with leading scholars in their field of specialization. They gain experience as teachers in their academic departments and work with the Turner Fellowship program to support campus diversity.
