Summer Research Grants
Current Turner Fellows can apply for up to $3,000 in summer funding to be used to conduct exploratory or continuing research towards their thesis/dissertation during the summer months. There is a competitive application process that takes place in the spring of each year from which approximately 10 research grants are awarded.
To support the community building goals of the Turner Fellowship, all students who receive a Turner Summer Research Grant are required upon returning in the fall to participate in a lunchtime research roundtable as both a presenter of their summer research and a participant in the presentations of others. Research presentations will be scheduled throughout the following academic year.
