Applications are now being accepted for a Stony Brook University College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Assistant position available in the Humanities Institute for the 2008-2009 academic year. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a 5th-year graduate student seeking to work in a critically engaging, intellectually challenging environment designed to foster awareness of the theoretical trends and cultural debates crucial to a humanities-based professional. The Graduate Assistant chosen will be expected to spend 20 hours per week at his/her duties. The position calls for flexibility within the weekly work schedule. Students should be prepared to work at least three days a week and should be ready to assume tasks that arise regularly.
