The Turner fellowship has been a wonderful and nourishing intellectual, academic, and social environment, which provides support and encouragement at all times. In addition to my academic department, this special community of young scholars is a second family where fellows from diverse academic disciplines lend support to one another. This community is important to my academic achievement and progress here at Stony Brook.
