'Dr.Mow Shiah Lin' Scholarship
Dr. Mow Shiah Lin Scholarship for Asian immigrants established by the
Asian Pacific American Association
at Brookhaven National Laboratory
BERA’s Asian Pacific American Association (APAA) has established the Dr. Mow Shiah Lin Scholarship, honoring the late Dr. Lin who was a distinguished scientist at the U.S. Department of Energy’s BNL Energy Sciences and Technology Department.
In honor of Dr. Lin’s research, remarkable achievements, and inventions, a one-time award of $1,000 will be granted each year to an Asian immigrant with a Student Visa matriculating toward a graduate degree at an accredited institution of higher education on Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk counties) in Environmental & Energy Technology, Biology, or Chemistry.
